2010 MALAYSIA GP: VIDEO GUIDE FOR SEPANG

NEWS IN BRIEF

Outboard mirrors are to be banned from Formula 1 with effect from the Chinese Grand Prix in two weeks' time. Several teams have mounted their mirrors on the sidepods of their cars for aerodynamic reasons, with Ferrari and Red Bull Racing's mirror positioning the most dramatic. But from Shanghai onwards, the mirrors will have to be fitted on the cockpit sides on safety grounds.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Sebastian Vettel says he has no concerns about the reliability of his Red Bull car, but the German admits he is worried his team will suffer from the outboard mirror ban.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Johnny Herbert will be the drivers representative on the stewards panel at this weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix. The Briton, whose final F1 race was at Sepang in 2000, will provide input to the stewards at any time they need advice about events from a drivers' perspective. Herbert will work alongside Garry Connelly and Radovan Novak in Malaysia.
